February Challenge
General Relativity
Today's lesson will be that consistent results are better evidence of skill than
one-time success. If you put in the energy, you will eventually reap the reward.
Therefore, do not bask in past glories, but instead continue to make your mark in order to solidify your claim to fame, and eventually outperform your expectations.
Challenge Requirements
- Kill the Master Jelly1
- The winner of the challenge will be determined by the best time comparison2 between the run's time and their personal best time as reference time3
- the Master Jelly counts as being killed when you trigger the fading animation upon it being reduced to 0 hit points, just like the timing for speedrun attempts
- time comparison is the difference between your personal best time and your submitted run time. they work just like split time comparisons, so they can be negative: beating your personal best time by a minute (-1:00) is better than being behind one minute (+1:00)
- the reference time is either their personal best Any% (No Manipulation) time on speedrun.com at the time of the start of this challenge, or 1h 11m 04s for participants who did not yet have a personal best time on there. only verified runs at the precise point of the start of the challenge count. therefore, submitting or getting runs verified during this challenge does not negatively impact this challenge in any way, nor does deleting your runs positively impact it
