Challenge Requirements

Kill the Master Jelly¹
You may use a ROM patched with any combination of patches and patch options from the ROM patcher linked below²
You may use and abuse the music menu glitch as long as your submission video contains an input viewer³

the Master Jelly counts as being killed when you trigger the fading animation upon it being reduced to 0 hit points, just like the timing for speedrun attempts
only patches from the ROM patcher that's linked below are allowed, so you are not allowed to use external patches, custom changes to the game file, or other means of changing the gameplay, such as Game Genie codes/emulator cheats. patch compatibility is not guaranteed, but compatibility is only a concern in terms of your running experience - if multiple patches glitching out give you an advantage, that's fair game. if you utilize any patches, you have to state that you did alongside your submission
this supersedes the Arena rule that the music menu glitch is banned; if you utilize the music menu glitch, you have to state that you did alongside your submission; the input viewer has to be visible for the entire run, not just for sections in which you are in the config screen

You can obtain the romhacks from the Lufia II ROM Patcher. To get your game file, simply upload a Lufia 2 US ROM and check any checkboxes you want.
