Shopping Spree

You've been a treasure hunter for a while now, but monster hunting is a claim to fame in itself - and the Jelly trophy is just the icing on the gilded cake.

It's time to put those bounties to good use and give yourself that well-deserved special treatment, even if it means dealing with some unusual folks in the process.

Challenge Requirements

• Kill the Master Jelly¹ using a ROM patched with the "Shopping Spree" romhack²

1. the Master Jelly counts as being killed when you trigger the fading animation upon it being reduced to 0 hit points, just like the timing for speedrun attempts
2. you can obtain that romhack from the rompatcher that's linked in the Material section below

Material

You can obtain the romhack from the Lufia II ROM Patcher. To get the correct file, simply upload a Lufia 2 US ROM and check the "Shopping Spree" checkbox (certain other patches will already be included, so don't check anything in addition, other than visual patches optionally).
