September Challenge
Give 110 Percent
After all these challenges you passed, of course you won't turn down a final one —
a quest to prove you're a true master of the cave, or so that guy in the bar said.

Although, something does seem very different with the cave this time around...
you should definitely try to figure out what that is before you reach the final floor.
Challenge Requirements
- You start with 100 points — acquire as many points as possible1, using a ROM patched with the "Give 110 Percent" romhack2
- Get as close as possible to exactly 50 enemies killed3
(you lose a point for each enemy over or under that number) - Kill the Master Jelly, or get as close as possible, and finish the battle4
(you lose a point for each started 100 damage you're missing) - You gain a point for each time a character uses an item or defends5 in the Master Jelly fight
- Get a total run time of 100 minutes or less if possible
(you lose a point for each started five minutes over that time)
- placement in this challenge is determined by points, using run time only as a tiebreaker. the final score is not capped at 100 points, but has to be at least 1 for the run to count
- you can obtain that romhack from the rompatcher that's linked in the Material section below
- every enemy you get experience for counts towards the requirement, including the Master Jelly (whether you get the kill or not). you can use the counter in the ingame menu as well as the battle screen to keep track of the amount of enemies killed
- finishing the battle means to trigger the fading animation either when the enemy is being reduced to 0 hit points, or after it hits itself from the 4th turn's action. if you miss the kill, you can see the remaining hit points reflected in the final attack's damage
- using an item or defending means that a character is actually executing the respective action, not just the player inputting it. only controlable characters defending will award points; capsule monsters defending will not
Material
You can obtain the romhack from the Lufia II ROM Patcher. To get the correct file, simply upload a Lufia 2 US ROM and check the "Give 110 Percent" checkbox (don't check anything in addition, other than visual patches optionally).
